Gate Gate Configurations.
If your terminal requires that all packed containers must have a VGM, you can prevent export containers from being received at the gate by including the RejectVGMWeightRequired business task for the Receive Export (RE) gate transaction type. This business task rejects a gate transaction if the VGM weight is not specified for the container.
Select Configuration Gate Gate Configurations.
Select the ingate stage, then select Tran Type RE.
Select Edit. The Edit Tran Type form opens.
Under the Add Fields section, from the Field ID lookup field, enter VGM to bring up the VGM Weight field.
For Display Mode, select editable.
Click Add.
Click Edit Business Tasks.
Select RejectVGMWeightRequired.
Select Actions Include Business Task, then click OK.
Click Save on the Edit Tran Type form.
Use the Operations Gate menu to process a Receive Export (RE) gate transaction type. The <GateStage> form for the gate stage that you configured using the above procedure should display the VGM Weight field. If you do not enter a value in this field, the gate workflow should reject the gate transaction and display an error. Update the VGM Weight field for the selected gate transaction and if there are no other errors, the gate workflow should complete the gate transaction and allow you to proceed to the next gate stage.
